Description du poste

Produce interior and exterior lighting for open environments in our proprietary game engine. 

Analysing current environments and those in development, in order to maximise the quality of lighting on characters and environments 

Suggest artistic references to improve the visual aspect of the game 

Working in collaboration with the Level Artists and Level Designers in charge of the environments to propose, implement and then optimise the lighting in each context 

Implement and integrate feedback from the Art Director and your Lead into your work. 

 Qualifications

  • Initial experience as a Lighting Artist on a real-time project 
  • Good knowledge of 3D software such as Maya, 3Ds Max, etc. 
  • Mastery of the theories governing physical light, power and colour temperature of different types of electric or natural light sources, etc. 
  • Understanding of CGI technologies applied to lighting, for both real-time and pre-calculated rendering. 
  • You have a strong team spirit, good interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently. 
  • Cinematographic and photographic knowledge: framing, shot scale, scene composition, atmospheric lighting, shadows, etc.
