A degree qualified Technical Project Manager/ Visual Event Technician
with broad practical experience in the Live Events sector, managing and
working in crews rigging, and running large and small scale setups for
concerts, conferences, exhibitions, corporate and outdoor events.
A practical person able to adapt to new challenges quickly, be it a
software based solution, or more practical. Key skills being the ability to
problem solve, finding ways around problems by identifying solutions
to achieve the desired result.
Used to working as part of a crew of varying sizes but equally happy
working as part of a group, competent and confident working on an
individual basis. Often taking on the lead role within a team, working to
get the best from the team by setting an example. Whichever capacity
all work is deadline driven, striving to complete tasks ahead of schedule
and always to a high standard of work and safety.
Fortunate to have been able to travel worldwide whilst working has
meant dealing with many different cultures giving a broad knowledge
of differing approaches to clients and the work. Within this experience
also generating the skills to work with people from numerous different
nationalities including clients, technicians and local crew, all of which
has helped to develop people management skills to achieve the desired
results from the team regardless of the obstacles presented.
