Project descriptionThe Africa Cup Sevens is an annual rugby sevens tournament involving African nations, organized by Rugby Africa. Since 2013 the tournament has been contested on an annual basis.
Kampala City will host the 2017 Africa Rugby 7s Championships over two days; on Friday, 6th and Saturday, 7th of October.
Participating Teams include; Uganda, who is the current Champions, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Madagascar, Tunisia, Morocco, Senegal, Botswana, Zambia, and Ghana.
Tournament Profile
The 2017 tournament serves as a qualifier for the following:
• The 2018 Hong Kong Sevens qualifier tournament, where two teams compete for a chance to be a core team of the 2018–19 World Rugby Sevens Series
• The 2018 Rugby World Cup Sevens, also involving the top two[4]
• The 2018 Commonwealth Games, with the top two Commonwealth of Nations members eligible.[5]

Project description 2017 IAAF World Cross Country Championships that 59 nations, 553 athletes participate in 5 races, was hosted in the city of Kampala, Uganda's capital. This 42nd edition was held on 26 March 2017.
In keeping with past events, all five races, including the newly introduced mixed relay, were held in the afternoon. The first event was the inaugural mixed relay race, which was won by Kenya. The junior races preceded the senior races, and the senior men's event concluded the programme
