Summary

I'm a sound technician with 18 years of wide-ranging experience. Undergrad in Music Technology and Production and Master of Sonic Arts. I have advanced technical knowledge of various areas, with  more depth in sound and new digital technologies, but also technical knowledge and scenic sensitivity in the areas of video and light. when presented with new challenges i have confidence in my research resources to solve and achieve high standart results. I've worked in more teams than I can count at the moment and they almost invariably highlight my dedication and ability to sacrifice for the common good.
My ability to organize the various elements that make up a cultural event has already been developed by being technical director in Breyner 85 (a live music venue in Oporto) and especially on a cruise ship with a capacity for 3000 people, where I was responsible for all the sound systems inside, forcing me to split up between 4 auditoriums, restaurants, presentation rooms, etc. I had to plan my time in a disciplined and realistic way in order to monitor, inventory and maintain all the equipment, be present during the production phases and presentations, and solve the technical problems that invariably arose.
My professional activity in this technical field came to a halt with the Covid-19 pandemic, at which time I applied for and was awarded an FCT doctoral scholarship. As the scholarship progressed, I discovered that I wasn't suited to this academic work and I canceled the scholarship in May. I've returned to technical work this summer and want to expand horizons in different countries.
